A Carless Carleton?

TUESDAY MAY 19: ”A Carless Carleton?: What would it take to get us there?”
A Community Discussion, and Transit Information Fair

Tuesday May 19th Noon – 2 p.m.
Leighton Hall, Room 305 (A Pizza Lunch will be served)

By focusing on the goal of a Carleton without cars, we hope to shed light on the current transportation situation at Carleton and the wider Northfield community. Discussion direction: What segments of the population use cars?  Where do they go with their cars and how often?  Can these needs be met with other forms of transportation? What are the current transportation options for people without cars?  Is a Northfield community-wide ride-share website possible?  What would a comprehensive transit system in Northfield look like?  Would it be economically viable? Campus and Community Residents Welcome!
Please join in this important discussion and share your concerns and ideas!
