Please join with neighbors and friends
for
a Northfield East Side Community Potluck
and Neighborhood Celebration
Sunday, June 21,  4:00 – 6:30 p.m.
At the Parish House tent,
419 Third Street, between College and Winona
This year’s celebration will feature a dramatic reading of  “These Trees Shall Be My Books: A History of Central Park,” a short account of Northfield’s Central Park written by Marie Gery and performed by a merry band of local thespians including several east side neighbors!  After the reading, a group photo of neighborhood residents will be taken.
This informal neighborhood pot-luck dinner will be held, rain or shine, under a festive tent provided by Carleton College. Third Street will be blocked off to traffic. Lawn games will be available.  Live (“locally grown”) music will be provided by Wake-Robin: featuring Brad Easterson and John Hanson.
Please bring a favorite main dish, or salad (with serving utensils and a card identifying the dish). Colored table cloths and table bouquets of garden-grown flowers are also welcome! Ice Cream treats, cups, plates, and table cutlery will be provided courtesy of Carleton College. Water and other beverages will also be available.
All East Side neighborhood residents, friends, and extended family members are heartily welcome!
